i was locked in with his mixing assistant(s) for 2 days at his warehouse/"creative space" in wyoming. (i add the "s" because he has a slew of interns that switch out every other day.) i was linked through the indie artist i mentioned in the other thread. (@ mods i have proof to back this up if needed.)

during my time there i was more behind the scenes than really doing the main work because i didnt have an LLC (bummer). that whole process i can talk about later, its a royalty split thing that i dont agree with, its a very aged and bullshit practice. but I've never spoke to him personally face to face. everyone is separated across the place through their field of work. this powerhouse of creatives he has around is a safe haven for creators. they work very hard and help him a lot.

but i can say that k*nye is inconsiderate of other peoples time than his own. impossible deadlines, a sudden change of creative decisions, basically just very hard to work with. its overwhelming trying to catch up.

the time i was around, his ASR10 LED screen was shot out during a session - the hardware he makes beats on. If you have an ASR10 you know how easy it is for the circuitry to be shot out with aged hardware like that. it sent him on a manic episode til it was fixed. it was very uncomfortable to be around.

this was early in the year, i haven't been around since.
he also smokes now, so maybe that set him off too.
if you think thats bs, on the donda doc you can see him hitting a blunt with dame lmaoo.
