I used to mildly defend kanye by saying yeah he’s a d*** sometimes but he’s ultimately harmless, there are far worse artists who actually rape and beat people, but kanye doing the manson s*** makes it soo much harder

But Drake music does sound completely unique to Drake. Ye can’t sing or flow over beats as he does and he doesn’t have the same wits or subject matter. Not saying either is better or worse just stating a simple fact.

Kanye is well aware that he won’t beat Drake numberwise, which would be the only reason to release an album alongside with him. It’s no 2007 no more and Drake is no 50 Cent. Kanye will always be more culturally significant and artistically appreciated but Drake can outsell him with one big names single and Kanye knows that.
