frenchpressi agree w/ ur perspective. imagining a mod pov i can see how it'd be tuff to differentiate intention of actual discourse vs intention of inciting/trolling ppl. mby that's easy to tell upon reading an OP, but i'd say the line can get pretty muddy very quickly
I feel like you’re empathising with ‘how hard that must be for a mod’ over how hard it would be for a trans user to see someone outright insulting their existence on a music forum while everyone else can scroll past it without having it affect their day

Q3D@safe trust me if it looks like we're not trying to help someone understand that probably just means they don't want to understand, I'm always down to answer questions and explain things to people who actually wanna learn to get past stereotypical ideas etc. But at some point you can just guess who's really trying to learn and who's just hopeless
