"Jonah, in particular, sounds like it was made by a cult that lives inside an Apple store"
"The nadir is the embarrassingly soupy “Moon,” which is followed by the elementary “Heaven and Hell,” a song so rote as to hinge entirely on a rhyme that encourages the listener to “Burn false idols” only after bragging that “We on Bezos.”
man what
This s***’s getting thrashed
i stopped taking critics serious after fiona apple album last year
There is this weird tone noise right before the words when they sing the chorus on repeat acapella of New Again and i kind of love it for some reason and wish it was a part of the song. Anyone else know what i'm talking about?
Yeah like a cicada or other ambient noise - thanks for making me notice this
Maybe the album is trash but I’m too biased to see it…
Hmmm
The 4 bonus tracks are definitely unnecessary, I’ll admit that
But I love the rest
Hell nah Rolling Stone is wrong for this 'The nadir is the embarrassingly soupy Moon'
Nah, that’s a BAD take
They should get spanked for that
For people that genuinely think this album is bad, I really wonder what kind of music they find enjoyable.
No way you’re hearing songs like Off the Grid, Hurricane, Believe What I Say, 24, Moon, Jesus Lord, Lord I Need You, Come to Life, and No Child Left Behind and thinking to yourself “hmmm
this album kinda sucks”
Probably Imagine Dragons or Coldplay or some s***
I know sales don't equal good but it's just funny some of the reviews desperate to write off Kanye as a hasbeen when this album has been so successful so far

what if most critics wait for the first other reviews to pop up and then adept to the existing score

Pitchfork gave Peppa Pig album a higher rating…
Media clearly getting briefed to s*** on this album. Beyond a joke. Thank God I detached myself from listening and reading these bullshit publications. These reviews are clearly personal.
