Jesus Lord8 songs, 35 minutes. 3 big hits. Cohesive sound and vibe with strong emphasis as a singing album. 808s x JIK. I realized Ye’s rapping just doesn’t work on this album, it really drags things down. But his signing is incredible and should be the focus.
even if it was this short, ye's lyrics and delivery would need to be updated. Lazy singing and mumble bars is just ruining it for me rn. I see the potential. It's such a BIG album, loud and full of life. But its unfinished.
And I'd add Praise God into this.
