LaFleurI really do even though I know it hurts quite a lot people. The only solution out of it is to believe in people's common sense and hope that they're not going to buy that kind of press.
What bothers me the most tho is the fact that we have publications that ride the thin line between what's legal and what's not. For example we have this magazine called "Valeurs Actuelles" who wrote last summer a wildly racist text (they called it a "story") about a black parliament member going back to an era where slaves were still a thing and associating right next to it drawings of her as a slave. Well 2 years later they still didn't suffer any legal consequences from it which is kinda crazy and they kept riding this line where judges are kinda anxious to have a go at them since Charlie Hebdo happened and free speech became THE thing here in France that you almost shouldn't step on no matter what even though boundaries were clearly crossed here

I recently watched a film called 'la haine'. I think it's one of my favourite films of all time. What I love about the French is that they are not scared about expressing their opinion.
I just feel like that is being took over by the far right. The same is happening in England.
