as a cohesive album with a strong vision its better, some of the songs on KSG feel pointless even if they sound cool, whereas everything on JIK is laser focused on what the album is about

I can completely understand liking the songs on KSG better

Vision of KSG so much better than JIK its not even close

I agree JIK feels more thematically tied together

KSG I think ties its songs together with its instrumentation, all of its weirdo psychedelic beats

Anyone seriously saying JIK over KSG is sus as hell. Reborn alone is better then the entire JIK album.

KSG is one of the best and easiest front to back listens

i get to be top tho

JIK is the only album in his discography I don’t like and I never go back to. I even go back to Ye sometimes, flaws and all.

A lot of people don’t. Which I understand after such a legendary run but it’s a cute little snapshot of him at that time.

ye is decent but like compare to prior record its downgrade

i think while its not as grand and maximalist as all his other work, there's still so much beautiful and revealing material on it
