scoopman i think if kanye had released the best 11 or 12 songs from this and kept the rest for a deluxe, AND stayed away from the gimmick s*** like having manson on stage etc. this would be extremely widely acclaimed
some songs on here are genuinely the best he’s put out since MBDTF or yeezus imo, but its so god damn long and sequenced so bizarrely. imagine if it had ended on a song like Lord I Need You rather than 4 pt 2’s in a row lol. i know you can just delete the tracks you dont want but its not the same.
It seems like he wasn't making this to be critically acclaimed, he already been done that

Still, who cares? Album is still amazing. At the end of his career or when he passes you’re going to be glad you have those extra songs to remember him with and those memories tied to it like “lol remember when he put an AI sounding pop smoke on the album, that dude was hilarious”
