Ofcourse, but for me personally come to life is one of the most moving emotionally, it’s definitely a top tier song on the album

Yep, that Lord I Need you - Come To Life stretch brings the album home thematically

24 being shrouded in grey just doesn't make sense to me unfortunately, maybe it's because we interperate the music differently but 24 is a triumph in my eyes, like overcoming the final obstacle in the journey

you could maybe say the choir being pitched down is like a false ending perhaps because a choir usually sounds joyous and i could buy that if it led into any song that wasnt remote control which while being a good song, is just kinda unapologetically goofy, not dark in the slightest

im kinda rambling but i hope you understand what i mean, i can see the whole going from dark to light narrative being here because kanye has done that already on MBDTF, yeezus, ye, JIK etc. so it's certainly possible that was the intention but i dont see it right now, maybe after a few months that will click with me

i think judging the sequencing of a kanye album not even a year or let alone a month since it came out is just hard for me, thats not how we came to think about the themes of yeezus and tlop

i feel like the way kanye has always felt about sequencing is very strong and theres something holding it together like always, but its very hard to make out while its brand new
