OG pure souls tho.... those did not need drums at all and I still want the piano back smh
I’m with you on this …but also love this version
i'm going to watch LP1 tomorrow, completely forgot some of these songs
Yeah I’m going to do the same I need to relive that mess
Will have to do
what's the best place to get those remakes? etsy?
probably, or maybe dhgate/taobao
that weeknd interview when he mentioned wanting to work with kanye again releasing when it did was really a miracle
What a brilliant coincidence lol
THIS NIGGA WITH A STOCKING ON HIS FACE RAPPING ABOUT RUNNING WITH THE BUCKS LIKE GIANNIS
CANT BE THE SAME GUY WHO MADE DARK FANTASY
pretty sure andrea c0ck and BGFX did too but we were def the minority
i think its really something interesting, to me it sounds like something like ye 2018, its just really depressing, barebones instrumentally and really minimalistic
like never abandon your family -> that hurricane -> moon don solo -> jonah -> pure souls is suuuuper cold and you can tell the album was at first much sadder by looking at the LV tracklist too
i think if that dropped it would have been one of those mega grower kanye albums, but it was clearly unfinished and we got the best album we could have out of this era
Hurricane into moon without cudi was god tier
Let’s get right!!!!!!!!!
massive L
pure souls is amazing with the new organs & drums
new pure souls is a huge bop but the lp1 piano version is so.... pure lmao

love lp1 version. i had that on repeat before lp2
the first listening party was pretty sad tbh he was completely alone on that field
Hurricane into moon without cudi was god tier
for sure but fleshing both of those out and making them individual stand alone moments
he really worked it into a new level
Moon was the best song I heard at lp1 and it was just Don Toliver singing the hook for 2 minutes
the first listening party was pretty sad tbh he was completely alone on that field
I was in horrible shambles
Me high af at the stadium during lp1 when it got to the last song and i heard a loud distorted inaudible voice say a word that sounded like "throne"
I was in horrible shambles
same lol. when he came out to that unfinished off key 24 i f***ing had a meltdown
now 24 is one of my favorite songs off donda

Never Abandon Your Family was devastating
I was in horrible shambles
Lol Hold on, doesn't he usually perform alone. Why were y'all in your feelings
