Also I forgot how garbage this version of Hurricane was
I miss the OG synths a bit, but literally everything else sucks so much lol
The fact that he salvaged the verse he had now from this absolute trash heap is a miracle in and of itself

CITY. OF. LOST. AN. GELS.
Moon is so f***ing good, jesus
Why is Junya becoming my favorite
I wish the MM MMM’s we’re the same as LP2 because they got more intense as the verse went
Also ye Adlibs on carti’s parts in LP2
Jonah actually works so much better without drums IMO, but I’ve come to love the final version in its own right
Pure Souls on the other hand was really benefitted by its drums, but god damn I also forgot how good this piano was

I don’t understand how people can deny that beat.
Ok this might be confirmation bias, but I think he was definitely f***ing with the stem player on New Again in LP1
There’s a weird pitch bend that happens during what would eventually become CB’s part. Which also now that I’m listening again, I wish he just finished his version and used the SS Choir with his own vox tbh
EDIT: there’s also a tape delay at one part of God Breathed that really sounds like the stem player’s effects from the demo videos
Jail really went from a good idea with a great surprise feature to an anthem and a moment in itself in a month

I almost thought there was no hope for hurricane when I heard that completely out of tune bullshit
