what things do yall miss the most from the early listening sessions?that didnt make the album?
i still wish new again had the black sheep (?) "uh, come on!" sample
and that "It won't be long..." sample used towards the end of god breathed
I keep God Breathed off my tracklist but I really wish we got a more fleshed out version of the New Again played at LP1 like you're referring to

That was played by mistake. A seller had shown us some notes sent to producers working on album at the stadium, which had shown us about various refs made during there. One of the info was this:
New Again - Chris brown vox? Mike dean mix that was played @ stadium was entirely wrong vocal. Engineers must locate CB files and also find correct Ye vocal
Mike played wrong version of the track. He used vocals from old version of the track when it was called HIII WYD. They played the wrong one at LP1. New Again at Vegas was the LP2 version.

that sucks, because the first verse and the solo Kanye autotune croon hook are the best parts of what that song is/could've been
I'd go as far as to say the solo kanye hook on new again is the best thing to come out of this entire era
Roddy Rich sampled Ye chorus from live fast die young… damn thats beautiful…

I really love that verse too.
Thanks Mike for giving us a taste of it, albeit by mistake
beginning is really cool but they're doing too much by the time the song kicks in
Yeah. and the part where the cut to moon out of nowhere

In LP1 when New Again plays you can tell Ye knows the wrong mix is playing and he takes his phone out and starts texting Mike about it
All the Ye taking his phone out to text/call Mike Dean moments during the LPs were priceless
LP2 when Heaven & Hell starts playing Ye's talking to Mike on the phone and he's bobbing his head to the lyrics until he starts mumbling in his verse and he gets visibly pissed
pure souls piano

Damn this is a really cool edit. I definitely still prefer the final version though

Yeah I stream the released only, way more convenient but I dislike that goddamn outro. Totally unnecessary and added just to spite Drake back then, the dude whom he reconciled with a few months later. I like her ok ok verse but that outro doesn't really improve the song at all and just killed the hit potential of the track.

I can’t stand the outro, it’s an auto skip every time for me, but i feel the released version gives the song the proper bounce/energy it needs
