all these people screaming about needing drums on this entire record need to have their ears removed
Never Abandon Your Family is f***ing tough to listen to
I love Kanye and think this album will be great. But the way he shamed his wife for leaving him by using his dead mother's voice in a self-righteous way was kind of f***ed.
ya i think she shows up about 3 times and not at all during the second half of the setlist
i ain't mean what i said to say that donda should be called yandhi. donda's a great and promising title. the album obviously has donda as a main theme if you've heard the LV tracks plus the atl ones
shes on more songs on the vegas version according to people that were there

yes this song is 1000% better without drums
He gotta leave that whole part out
yeah, or that lol if that part ain’t shaped up then i’d also like it gone
Your personal worth is not what a person is worth

The whole song is f***ed, I wonder if Kanye didnt expect her to show up, he would have definitely removed it from the tracklist if he knew. Apparently there was a whole bunch of other emotional songs removed from the listening party as well, if he kept this one who knows how bad those songs were.

Haven’t heard it. What does it say??
there is a different machine behind this release …

there’s def an element of her leaving since she divorced him, but the song lyrics themselves lend to more of a both-at-fault pov when kim is incorporated into the song, and otherwise the song actually seems to focus on ye’s own faults e.g. “i wish i’d never screamed”
unless there’s a huge part of lyrics i’m missing which may be tru cus it’s hard to make out all he’s saying lol

I didn’t see it that way honestly. It’s from his point of view and him abandoning his family. The lyric in the song is “daddy please don’t leave” or something like that
