Personally the biggest disappointment in these last few projects has been about quality and rushing releases when there was plenty of potential. ye was material that felt super derivative of TLOP but JIK being that 'daring' new direction had a lot of opportunity that just never got fully realized.

JIK had a good sonic foundation built on environments and those textural nature-like sounds but again, rushed it out instead of polishing it like he used to.

Drake has a proven equation that continues to stand the test of time but he serves a different consumer and he's good at making the type of music his fans (myself included) want to hear from him. But again, his audience is completely different.
