SpeakersI was raised on Kanye's music. TCD always playing in the house. Grad was one of my first CDs. To suggest that Ye cares less about music, regardless of what you think of the album quality, is strange to say the least. Critique the output.

Great album, cool little tour with the mask I suppose, but Kanye is good enough that he can make something great while he is in the process of not caring about it. But it was a drastic step down from the first 5 and was the first album that he procrastinated and recorded the week it dropped

the lyrics took a back seat on that project because not everything is lyrics, that was a brilliantly produced album, and the lyrics are perfect

You can say this but to correlate it with Kanye having a lack of passion for the music itself is absurd. The Zane Lowe JIK interview confirms the opposite.

Even if I give you that tho and concede that Yeezus is perfect, that still leaves the last 3 which are unquestionably some last minute bullshit
I’m not a lyrical miracle person but even Kanye’s vocals and delivery have gone down hill drastically
