even then, i would be interested to know how much it costs to manufacture and ship these things considering both of those have become very expensive over the last couple of years.

The 10% and 20% were just estimates for argument’s sake. Even if 1% of his fanbase buys one, that’s an insanely large amount of revenue (around $20 million), and probably a pretty good amount of profit too.

i guess i am just against the idea in general. kanye is a billionaire and doesnt need his fans to pay $200 to listen to his album (if it wont be available through other official channels) even if the stem player does have functionality outside of that.
no, i dont think he should be forced to add it to streaming either. he is entitled to charge what he wants for his art. but damn, he cant just do a digital download on his website or something?
realistically most people are just going to pirate this if its possible to lol

Jim Napsterye has too much ego to let his album not chart, its definitely ending up on streaming at one point
He has charted way too many times to get any utility from, a number 1 album doesn't hit anymore. He wants to conquer new ground.
