WESLEYS THEORYThe production is nice but let’s be honest unless some sort of miracle happens, I don’t see this being top tier Ye. It’ll probably be better then YE & JIK. Maybe better then DONDA 1. But it’s not touching his first 6.
As long as it’s Donda tier I’m fine with that. I never thought ye would even touch his first 6 anyway. Donda is a great album

Cole2He did City of Gods great but he was rapping too fast on OTG and couldn’t get his timing back the whole verse
I wonder if it was different live vs. imax
In imax everyone was off beat once city of gods fivio part started. Even Carti was rapping but he was like half a beat behind and it was very jarring

I think the listening parties would still be super cool if they were for albums that were actually finished.
I went to the second LP for Donda and it was very hype. But I still felt like Kanye was milking it for every bit of potential attention it had.

TheRocket64Doesn’t MSG have multiple venues inside it and hockey uses a different part of MSG as opposed to baseball/concerts
I mean it has a theatre attached that holds like 4000 people or something. And a bunch of conference rooms. The Garden is The Garden.

Why YesterdayYeah but not everyone has the healthy mindset that you and I do about this.
At my lowest moments in my life though new music from someone I loved was a big thing to look forward to. Some people don't got much else
So to say it's "just music" as a deflection to why someone shouldn't have mixed or negative feelings about this experience is ignorant imo. Especially when it's an amazingly good experience you wouldn't say its just new music (and if someone were watching with s friend, could have been a lifelong good memory with a song. I got that with a song or two from Pablo)
You see I'm actually going through something really painful rn n music is everything to me which is why I can't be bothered to get even remotely by new s***

was literally just about to say this. like lp1 was an abomination. hurricane had struggle fake daft punk ye vocals, yes verse was cobbled together, and that f***ing "city of lost angels" part was off key
