Feb 23, 2022what worries me is that a lot of the stuff on here that has potential to be great needs to an elevated second half. Selfish is already a solid track but if it keeps building and leads to some sort of natural Instrumental climax over another verse/refrain it would be spectacular.
I trust that Ye can finish a lot of the verses but I'm not sure he has it in him rn to go all the way with turning these half-songs into full songs

ASAKIThe thing is that 95% of the problem with Ye albums nowadays can literally be solved if he put an ounce of effort in actually completing a charismatic verse every song instead of one song out of every 10.
The production is good, the vision is there, the stage is set. Except the man just s***s the bed when it comes time to actually do the f***ing song.
