Had Too Easy in my head all day s*** is nuts
Might leave the album until it’s updated & finished
My friend goes “honestly the album is a big eh, Donda 1 >”
I say “you know the album’s not finished right, it’s in the same state as Donda 1 after the first listening party”
He goes “Ok and?”
Kanye tryna do something cool and forward thinking by updating and creating the album with us in real time and people judging it as the final product

Donda 2 actually sounds better than 1 imo
It sounds like a modern mbdtf

Word and that’s the issue I have. It doesn’t matter to KTT, whatever. In the real world it does cause this is how people take in things and Kanye doesn’t care to understand that. Songs like We Did It Kid and Pablo will probably not get attention cause of his s***ty way of releasing music. Nobody cares about waiting for updates in real life.

This is sadly true, tough agree.
I mean it came out the exact way Kanye said it was coming out. You’re right that updates are likely coming out for it, but nothing has been announced either way so I can only judge it based on what we have been officially delivered.
If it’s never updated again then your point stands but if this goes the donda route then

It’s a cool idea in theory but the execution is bad
It would be a lot cooler if the stems were free for everyone instead of locking it behind a 200 dollar paywall
Not all of ye’s hardcore fans can afford that just cause you can’t pay for it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get to participate

I wouldn't go that far.
"D2" version 1's more polished that "D1's" LP1 though.
I'll give you that.

It will go the Donda route, but what he means is the outside world will have already judged the songs, & form their opinion on the songs, before even hearing the final version

I wouldn’t go that far yet, but it definitely has a lot of potential. I think after each LP1, Donda 2 has a stronger tracklist so far. Donda 1’s tracklist after LP1:
24
South Carolina
Junya
Remote Control (without Thug)
Praise God (with OG beat)
Never Abandon Your Family (mumble version)
Hurricane (without Weeknd) this version was one of the worst Kanye songs I’ve ever heard lmao
Moon (without Cudi)
Jonah (no drums / bass)
Pure Souls (with piano, no organ)
New Again (without choir)
Tell the Vision
God Breathed
No Child Left Behind
Jail
That compared to the first version of Donda 2, I think D2 is slightly better
This is at the same time the worst final product (afaik) that he has ever put out and the most promising songs since Yeezus.
