how long you think kanye held on to these xxx songs?
only for a couple months. I think it is more likely John Cunningham was holding on to them for the past few years and gave it to Ye once they started working on Donda 2
What y'all think, is he gonna put the remaning 5-6 songs to the stem player and do a listening party after or he will just play them at the next show first?

I think OG Mr Miyagi prob gets put up sometime soon in the few days then they save the next wave of changes for another LP

Picture of your heart
not really, I just need something that has more substance behind it
I've cried to APIDTA, Ghost Town, wither, songs that are actually about something and are sad not just pretty songs that have lyrics that are sad (big difference imo between actually sad vs stylised sad)
any1 got new version of True Love?
More I listen, more Im in love with this project. I hope this is gonna be finished but there a lot of potential honestly
Album is a 4/10
pretty high for a mumble pack

u do raise an interesting point about the lyrics tho
I have cried to both ghost town and come to life, when I think about it I feel like the content was what really struck me on ghost town, and the delivery is what did it for come to life, I think both songs have their strength and weaknesses but to me they're some of the best Kanye tracks in recent years, I know u absolutely love Ghost Town and I respect that a lot

No and that's a mad weird question to ask
good thing I'm listening to this with phone speakers
airplay to your tv / sonos system = W

The song is incredibly emotional.

yeah this is not an argument about what is better, because the songwriting is more polished on Come To Life and the song is obviously much more polished in terms of production/mixing, if people say the song is better I respect that but I can't fake emotional response and CTL doesn't do that much for me 🤝
the scratchy vocals (not mumble I would like that finished) and aesthetic on First Time/Ghost Town really do something for me too, with a trademark Mike Dean mix that most people would hate there's a chance I would've felt CTL more too

Oh yeah I absolutely love the gritty feel of ghost town it feels like an old vinyl u found in a garage that hasn't been played for a long time, really fits with the ghost town title too

I can't think of a great translation for it to click with you all, but to me CTL feels like "making a pretty sounding sad song" while Ghost Town/First Time In A Long Time feels more natural like I'm in the room with him experiencing it, no filter, no rewriting lines to get it to sound more poetic, just real
No and that's a mad weird question to ask
how is tht a weird question
in ur comment u said youve cried to a couple songs
so i was just wondering
