ya imo theyve overall been useless since like 2015 but we'd still get threads about em n stuff fantano thread hardly sees daylight in music sxn anymore, n i rly dont remember a whole lotta review threads for recent albums idk i feel like ppl more generally believe now that most music reviewers r just corporate writers, not necessarily special or gifted with Special Critical ability, esp since the publications went obviously political
