YeahN9hNah 808s is regarded higher because of the influence it had on the genre/culture.
Yeah they both were hated at the beginning, but today Yeezus is really only mentioned by Ye Stans. While the general consensus among a wide range of fans is that 808s is a classic.
Doubt its only mentioned by Ye stans since its still the most streamed rap album from that year, even above NWTS
