Not my fight, but I do care about legacy. Except, as you said, his legacy is already sealed. Still, with every step past his prime, it hurts a bit more. Especially because I feel that if he could regain his singular focus on music (which is impossible with everything else he has going on and has achieved) we would be getting more classics, and nothing would be more satisfying to me for him to prove everyone wrong yet again and add to his already established legacy, rather than just giving fans some extra music. I could go way deeper into my feelings on this, but that's the gist of why I care whether he's dropping masterpieces or merely good music.
