yeezus production was pretty experimental at the time. thats why people didnt like it at first. so i think his point was more, he wants sounds that are more experimental and new. not that he wants it to sound like yeezus

I really want Ye to channel the dark side of Donda 1 for Donda 2. Half of Donda is very hopeful and spiritual due to him hoping to reconcile. I really want him to go and explore the evil side of Donda 1. Imagine 20 new tracks in the vein of off the grid, remote, and jail

I’m not a doctor or professional, so this is all from my personal experience, but he really seems like he’s in the middle of a bad manic episode. Went through a breakup after 6 years last year, and I’m noticing a lot of parallels. For the people who say “he looks completely fine and normal in every video”, an episode isn’t that easy to identify. It’s not like he’s gonna go around yelling and spazzing in public. Personally, in my worst episodes, I could seem like the calmest person alive to my parents, being able to have normal interactions, but be exploding internally. It’s a weird thing to explain. You get this feeling like you’re unstoppable and have this incredible confidence, optimism, and drive. It ends up destroying a lot of relationships, and once you’re back to clarity, you get this sense of incredible sadness and then additional sadness from realizing the impact of your actions. It can get to the point where it’s truly wanting to end it all type sadness. I hope Ye has people in his life who genuinely love him. I don’t think he should be locked up or anything, and I genuinely don’t believe he’ll do any harm at all. I wish people didn’t see this as creepy or threatening. While I understand the behavior is unwarranted, he must be dealing with a lot of pain, and I think he just needs help/genuine family telling him they love him. I hope working on the album is a good outlet. Sending love to Ye <3
