anyone thinking this album isn’t rushed is severely wrong. Kanye doesnt have to drop an album right now, nor does he have to push himself for these tight deadlines. hes Kanye west, hes not bound to a label by the neck and i hate that Kanye’s team around him doesn’t suggest/make it more apparent that Kanye needs to just relax/focus on himself/focus on Yeezy. all these controversies and mental gymnastics he puts himself through for a mid album with old songs and bad lyrical matter. would love if he took another year or 2 break away from the spotlight
So is quadra

This bigger than AJ v Fury
everyone saying he should take his time knows he would spend months on an album then have another manic episode and scrap it to record a new one in a week right
That doesn’t mean it’s not rushed. He’s put out a mediocre project almost every year for the past 4 years. His music making process is rushed, forced, and not organic and you can clearly hear it in the music
He gotta just chill, take some time and focus on making a concise body of work.
You gotta be high on PCP to believe the last 3 album recording sessions (ye, jik, and Donda) were more organized and overall more focused than 808s, Dark Fantasy, and Yeezus
yeezus was recorded and worked on just short of a year but 5 out of the 10 songs didn't even have vocals 2 DAYS before release lol
"Kanye came over to play me what I assumed was going to be the finished album at three weeks before the last possible delivery date. We ended up listening to three hours of partially finished pieces. The raw material was very strong but hadn’t yet come into focus. Many of the vocals hadn’t been recorded yet, and many of those still didn’t have lyrics. From what he played me, it sounded like several months more work had to be done. I joined the project because after discussing what he had played for me, he asked if I would be open to taking all of the raw material on and help him finish it.
Just two days before the album was supposed to be turned in, five songs still needed vocals. "Don't worry, I will score 40 points for you in the fourth quarter," Kanye allegedly told Rubin. "In the two hours before he had to run to catch the plane to Milan, he did exactly that: finished all lyrics and performed them with gusto," Rubin said.
