i remember it wasnt too long ago when people on this website were disappointed when Rick was pictured at the JIK sessions because the popular narrative was that he butchered the og Yeezus tracklist
I donāt know why rick gets any hate at this point but I think Yeezus is arguably the best album Ye ever done and TLOP was amazing as well to me.
But you are right in that Rick is not really a deciding factor for what makes a Kanye album good. Rubin will do about as good a job as the main artist does. Heās there to complement someoneās vision, not save them

By all accounts this is gonna be his most commercially viable record since TLOP, but he's not gonna see any of that potential success if he drops anywhere near Drake, he has to give himself at least a 2 week window before or after.
