He knows you're going to deal with it no matter what he does, and you'll defend him

I was seeing some clips from Elton Johns farewell tour and just how beloved buddy is and knowing my personal favorite artist and imo the best artist our gen (at the very least ONE of them) wont ever get the love his work deserves because of all this stupid vile s*** is pretty sad.
