"Passing the baby bar is important since the state of California won't credit study that fails to comply with the requirement. Students must pass the baby bar within three administrations of the test after they first become eligible upon their completion of the first year of law school. Failing to do so can result in loss of the credits for legal study accrued prior to the baby bar."

I was just confused because it seems like she's been studying to become a lawyer for years at this point. Would suck to have to start over. Seems like she's a long ways away either way.

she’s not studying in a traditional way. She’s trying to do it around her life. She can’t be in San Francisco like that bc of her kids and she’s moved everything she can to LA and is working around what she’s already got going on

this is a difficult way to do it. It’s meant for ppl who went to 4 years of college or ppl who are already in a professional field and it’s still hard

the pass rate for this before COVID was I think 21%. It’s worse than the rate for the CA bar

she started in late 2018 and took the exam in 2020. It might just like feel longer idk. I know the pandemic made time feel really slow for me

I think she’s taking it again soon
