WGANYou guys initially trashed TLOP and Kids See Ghosts. So many people on here are haters and want-to-be producers. But when fantano gives this a 7 people are going to start changing their opinion and a month from now there will be threads titled “is JIK top 3 Ye?”. Happens every single time.
you know thats just a very small fraction of people that are plain stupid. majority of kanye fans on here arent gonna suddenly start calling this album goat if its clearly not on a first listen. ye is still just as trash as the first time i heard it

theDonandOnlyThis is easily better than Ye for me.
People are hating but to me this seems like a return to form. I got nothing outside of one or two moments from Ye where as this was a great first listen. They should fix mixing and the transitions but the music itself is much stronger than Ye imo - better melodies, better vocals, better music (even if the production of that music is probably overly simple) and he has a really strong direction for this music, message, themes and approach, hopefully he sticks to it and keeps developing the sound and he probably doesn't care about expanding on the content given how much he's covered in his career but it would be cool if he did.. think of how many things he brings up in his other religious tracks like Jesus Walks or ULB etc..
I'd much rather have him spend the rest of his career making beats and Christian music than trying to sit on trendy production, at least with this it actually makes something meaningful and more unique.
I'm genuinely surprised people don't like this

strongly agree this is better than ye, which had maybe 1.5 good tracks
this has at least 3-4 tunes i really enjoyed (mixing aside)
was way more interesting and his delivery was solid as opposed to god-awful on ye

Every song that I heard previously got so much worse. Wow. Honestly, people are gonna hear this album and not convert to Christianity, but get further away from it. Great job Kanye. Idiot. Can’t wait for the South Park episode
