shaleiroseWhile I don’t think it’s his best work, after 5 or 6 listens or so I think it might be my favorite project of his. Mixing issues aside, there’s just something about it that makes me keep coming back to it.
I feel like this is the first Kanye album that I can play at any time completely from start to finish, and I think that’s in part due to the shorter runtime of it and also the theme/mood of the project being pretty constant throughout.
i lowkey love shorter projects, way more digestible and it makes it easier to be cohesive without a ton of room for filler
