Kanye made an album about his love for god, I don’t understand how jaded a person has to be to not appreciate another’s happiness.
In terms of a common theme throughout the album dingbat. TLOP's just a collection of songs thrown together that were like a celebration of Kanye's career leading up to that point. Of course it's going to be multidimensional. But in terms of sonics & subject matter. JIK is tighter imo.
tlops dichotomy was the theme of the album tho
which/one... can't just discard that
idk man I like how messy TLOP is, it gives the album this crazy off the walls feeling that I can't really get anywhere else
I like it too. It's all of Ye's work into one. My main issue was it being waaaay to overbloated with filter. If he trimmed the fat off. Would've been great.
Kanye still trending on twitter
"B-B-B-But i thought he was done and his music didn't get hype and anticipation anymore"
Anyone have a confirmed list of updates?
s*** sounds wayyyy clearer now, that's all I know
Kanyes flow and outsider edge as well as the highly abstract production and flow give this album a unique appeal that extends far beyond any religious or political controversy. He is just good at what he does.
Baella speaking facts
Reminder that time is particularly kind to the reception of Kanye albums. Look at 808s and TLOP (and soon Ye, one of his greatest and most sincere records)

I been oiling the Ye bandwagon since june 2018. Great album so underrated

This album is the most abstract album he's ever released. It's so left field that yeezus feels like a conventional album compared to this. Man's art is evolving like picasso's and we're here to witness it

Don't concern yourself with things like this. Just enjoy it
