that might be kanye’s worst verse of all time
Waves says hi
Ye going after that boomer money
Republican, Christian and non-explicit
This a Boomer dream album
Going to give the FLAC version a listen now.
As usual the beats are nothing short of fantastic, but the lyrics really do fall short this time. Not that ye ever been known for exceptional lyricism, but at least they were thought provoking and somehow intriguing. This time he is merely spewing out statements, and, in my opinion, failing to flesh out the concept of whole album. And its a shame, because it couldve been so much more.
All in all its great Kanye found “peace” with his newfound love for christianity, and you cant be nothing but happy for him. But.. honestly putting all that joy and love for a grander, much higher power, whom we all are accountable to, into albumform, simply does not make for an interesting album. And thats probably my biggest gripe with the album. Its a bit boring.
bro what his waves verse is dope af
Ehh i don’t like it tbh, i get hyped to it sometimes but still
Hands On is easily the best song. It couldve been Follow God but that mix is just too bad
this album gonna be so odd once he gets over this christian phase
I honestly don’t think he’s going to make any secular music again. He seems to be in a very good space mentally for the first time in a good while.
Go back to f***ing madison beer
Republican, Christian and non-explicit
This a Boomer dream album
Ye wants that Super Bowl halftime show
All makes sense now
Camel gonna either take an L or hand over 50m to Yeezy
this album gonna be so odd once he gets over this christian phase
I have the feeling this might be one of his last albums anyways. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends his career on this Christian note. He seems not to be interested in making music as he used to. Retirement isn't too far away, I'd say.
This the first big boy interview i wasnt feeling big boy. He was trying yo make it a Kanye vs blacks thing when Kanye wasnt even on no controversial s***.

so being a religious fundamentalist is considered a good mental space to be in wow
that might be kanye’s worst verse of all time
Lmaoooo what did you expect on a gospel album?
Y'all hating on it despite knowing what you were going to listen to, it's a gospel album, I've never heard gospel music with hard hitting, 32 bars verses on them. The lyrics on this are heartfelt, direct and preachy, just like any prayer is, because that's what someone would expect from an album called "Jesus Is King". I don't have a problem with you disliking the album for its religious themes, but I'd like for you to take into account what the album is about before criticizing certain aspects of it

And people who want to be mad are so mad about it
Hook up!!!!
There isn't a PM on here yet, right?

i knew i was listening to a gospel album and that’s not a problem. his writing and delivery is incredibly lazy though. there’s ways to make this sound good
so being a religious fundamentalist is considered a good mental space to be in wow
In no way does he have fundamentalist views
Being against premarital s***isn't exclusive to fundamentalists
Unless you want to make the Chik Fil A shoutout into a whole 'Ye is homophobic now' s***
