PLEIGHBOINo it's not worth replying since you can't read and conflate my words. I never said an album is better or worse because it's personal or a narrative (GKMC is a narrative aswell btw) I said that explains the difference in lyrical content and perceived depth of lyrics
You say I'm projecting my opinions as fact but yo say Stuff like "nobody with functioning ears would say the music on tpab is bad" when I don't know a person in real life that ats that album and have never heard it played anywhere in the real world

Yes, because that is soul music. How you black and can't appreciate the sounds on TPAB? You ain't even say you didn't like the album, you flat out said it isn't good music. And you're acting like it's music to be played in clubs. It's hip hop meant to be listened to by yourself and appreciated, or listened to in an environment where likewise art is appreciated. For all that I could say I've literally never heard anyone play illmatic, or deep Lupe cuts.
But I digress. There isn't even a point in comparing lyrical content when discussing Kendrick, especially not when the artist you're comparing him to is Kanye. Kanye shines in a lot of spots, but he is nowhere near Kendrick in terms of pure rapping ability. I'm not even tearing down MBDTF, I think it's a great album for what it is. But you sitting there saying TPAB is overrated and haven't named a single thing bad about the project. Just because you grew up with Nas and Lupe that have crafted great lyrical albums takes nothing away Kendrick. You acting like you're unique in that aspect, nigga we all grew up with that music, and yet everyone gives the album it's props.
