The amount of care, polish, and inspiration put into his older albums was far ahead of JIK. Every album Kanye was trying to shake up the music world and put out the next musical masterpiece. He lived and breathed music.
People all of a sudden convincing themselves that JIK is a perfect album need to listen to all of his albums in order again, culminating with JIK. And then try telling me this meets his standards.

Kanye's evolving as an artist, you shouldn't expect an artist to make the same type of music for the entirety of his career. Rn you're sounding like the disappointed fans back in 08. If you don't like it that's cool, you don't have to, but if you're expecting him to keep making mbdtf/yeezus than I got bad news for you. Just because it's 27 minutes long it doesn’t mean Kanye doesn't care anymore
