cerseihis ear for samples and melodies make me disagree. he’s getting old tho and this generation of rap just doesn’t appreciate him which is sad cus he’s responsible for them

I wouldn't mind if he continued to produce records for others, but Idk, he's tainting his discog to a certain degree by releasing these records that divide his fanbase & casual listeners. I like JIK, but it's a couple reviews away from having a worse rating on MC than Speeding Bullet To Heaven. (which I think is outlandish & people are just s***ting on him for no reason) but still. You can tell he's in a different place now & that his music is an after thought now.

I think Kanye's reputation is already ruined irrevocably no matter what. He could drop MBDTF today and get roasted for it, he can't win with critics or most music listeners anymore. But he can still make great music, and I'd rather hear great music than not hear it. If he's making art he feels good about, I'd want to hear it even if it's destined to get torn apart by people who are quick to judge.
