AbyssThe album is definitely better than Ye and might overtake 808s. There is just no Paranoid, WtH or Street Lights tier song on JIK. The individual songs on 808s are much better but the themes on JIK speak much more to me as a religious person.
So yeah, the maximum JIK can get is being Ye‘s 7th best album but even more important its a good album.
In the same time frame, i didn’t even listen to any songs on Ye anymore besides Ghost Town.I think the quality of individual songs will reveal themselves more over time
Dont feel like street loghts was really appreciated till much later despite being one of his best songs ever

Nov 8, 2019I really love God Is. The original version is such a beautiful song. Ye voice is so raw it adds something special to it.
Lyrics relatable for me personally too
