    Its a nice album tho. Better than ye imo, but it also misses substance

    So if I'm comprehending correctly, you have a problem with a gospel album praising God every track? JIK didn't fit YOUR expectations of how he should convey his love for God?

    ye has like 3 gems.

    I wouldn't call it a bad album. Definitely his most personal.

    The production just doesn't click with me.

    If its the only thing that album does: yes. If it was here and there but had more substance in general, it would've been a better album

    Theres no rule that a gospel album should only contain prasing god and nothing else right? There are more creative ways to talk bout faith/religion than only wow god is so amazing, Jesus saved me blablabla

    I rather had him talk bout the journey. Although he kinda did on KSG so idk. In his newer tracks he talks bout his religious political standpoints. I don't agree w it, but its interesting and has actual substance. His flow is off tho

    I like JIK as an album more than ye, mostly cause of the sound, but ye had the better lyrics and flow. KSG had best of both worlds. Hope Kanye can go back to that level

    the only song that is strictly praise is God Is, and even then that talks about addictions, people being freed from prison etc.
    everything else is about his journey with Christianity really
