Most psychologists and doctors doubt the existence of Stockholm syndrome which is why it's not recognized anywhere as a official illness.

(conditions/complexes don't have to be recognized as an illness for them to be real
it just means they don't fit the criteria to be in the DSM
think of the god complex for example, it's a real phenomenon but not an illness)

autism wasnt even a diagnosis prior to last century A few of the names mentioned on this list weren’t proven considering they died years and years before autism was a discoverable diagnosis. But they used historical Sources, and studied the writings and comparable behaviors to modern symptoms of being on the spectrum.
And the ones still Alive with actual diagnosis, all share similar traits.
