I’ve kind of jumped on the train that he’s a grown man and this nigga doesn’t know me nor does my support for his art make me a terrible person. I just disconnect from him these days. I don’t really get the same highs lately from even listening to the old stuff like I used to.Don’t get me wrong, the first 6 albums are still classics to me though but I just don’t have the desire to constantly play his mursick like that anymore
My whole education is in like visual art which is mostly old paintings and stuff. And tbh so much art ive studied was made by like murderers and terrible people. Which Ye really is not like that from what ive seen, he’s just mentally ill. That im very comfortable disconnection the art and the artist u know.
But i obviously get why people can’t enjoy it the same 100%
I do find listening to it sad a lot though

the decision to come off his medicine happened while on his medicine, so he clearly has something going on in those moments regardless

he should be on medication because every manic episode alters your brain chemistry, that’s why. he’s literally damaging his brain unknowingly (or knowingly) over the years. it’s nothing to do with being an idiot. he’s putting his own long term health in the gutter
