i really do think it could go well if media figures were willing to communicate with him respectfully.
there's this idea on liberal social media lately that it is discursively effective to "meet fire with fire". i think it's just resulted in white liberals behaving so reprehensibly that they've become indistinguishable from republicans or nazis.

I’ve listened to hours and hours of his interviews, especially from that 2010-2016 era, and it always felt like he had a strong moral code. His vision was always about bettering and improving humanity through creativity, whether it be music, clothing, design, art etc. Yes he was arrogant but moreso through self belief and always being told he couldn’t do things.
How the hell did he become such an awful person? Well I guess we know how, years of unmedicated mental illness, substance abuse… but it’s still so sad. Used to idolise the guy.

I think it's also all the years of being hated. It's a snowball effect. His meanness is a shield against his insecurity. The psychological toll of reflecting on the 50 car pile-up in his wake is too great, so he has to encase himself in a cocoon of cope.

i really have the Lyor Cohen letter/deadnaming discourse in mind when i say this.
it's frustrating to me to pretend to speak to someone compassionately while disrespecting them right off the bat. especially when Ye has referred to Kanye as his "slave name" and the immediate discussion is about neo-slavery in the record industry.
i think it is rhetorically ineffective for someone interested in communicating something to insult the person they are speaking to. in general that's my frustration with the response to Ye's rants. i think this could be an incredible opportunity for education about antisemitism. Instead, I believe the silencing tactics being deployed are lending credence to antisemitic conspiracy theorists.

The fact that he gagged that model on camera in front of la roux in 2010 made me questions this belief I also used to have. And those rape allegations from a couple years later.
I honestly think he’s been a destructive a****** to anyone he does not consider an asset for as long as I believed he as against those things. He will disrespect, scream at, assault you, harass you, unless you have something he needs. That is Kanye….unfortunately.

But Ye is a naive person in that he falls for such traps and couldn't see what was going on. You need some kind of accountability here and logic reasoning to see you're just being used to push a certain agenda. Problem is he thinks he's smarter than everyone lol. Now he thinks everyone is after him and is deflecting with his point of black crime and violence being profited off of by his Jewish conspiracy theories.
