While performing in Sydney last night, he allegedly stopped singing during “The Good Life” and demanded, similarly, that security guards check to make sure that an audience member who wasn’t standing was in a wheelchair, TMZ reports.

Coming off a contentious deal with Nike, as voiced on his Yeezus Tour, Kanye makes a move to Adidas. Adidas commented on the deal to WSJ below:
“For 2014, we welcome to the adidas family, one of the most influential artists of this generation – 21 times Grammy Award winner, Kanye West. He crosses music and fashion like no other, and together, with our history in fashion and streetwear culture, we will create a new chapter. Details to follow.”

It's not a secret that Kanye West has been working on a new album. Word is that Yeezy may be dropping a new single on New Year's Eve to close out 2014 and usher in 2015. Sources tell Hip-Hop Wired that Def Jam is pushing for West to drop a single tonight, just before 2015 comes to a wrap.
Back in July, GQ dropped the news that West was already hard at work on the follow up to Yeezus, and that the Chicago native wanted to drop the album in September, or October or November. All those dates have come and gone while a rough copy of a song called "All Day" sprung a leak in August, but was quickly removed.
We're not going to hold our breath, but who's going to be mad at new Kanye West music to end the year and kick off the new one?

Kanye West's Yeezus follow-up is slated to drop sometime this year. Over the past few weeks, there's been a slow stream of info regarding the forthcoming record: we've heard the Paul McCartney-featuring single "Only One", of course, and recieved word of a "crazy" collaboration between himself, the Beatle, Rihanna, and Ty Dolla $ign. By Seth Rogen and Theophilus London's separate accounts, there's been at least two listening parties (one of them in a limo!) and yesterday, another one took place at an industry event, albeit for just a few moments.
As Billboard reports, West made a surprise appearance at a presentation during the iHeartMedia Music Summit in California. After striding in with laptop in hand, the rapper spoke for about 45 minutes sans microphone, addressing the radio industry, Daft Punk, and the experience of working with McCartney on "Only One" – including how he jokingly asked the Beatle, "What was p**** like in the '60s?" (he later sang an a capella version of the song to a dead-silent room, according to Billboard). Next, he proceeded to play a part of a never-before-heard duet with Rihanna on his laptop. And then, in typical Kanye fashion, he slammed the laptop shut and walked out to roaring applause.

Kanye West was a guest on today's episode of "The Ellen Degeneres Show". The rapper's appearance - which follows on the heels of the recently-released Rihanna/Paul McCartney collab "FourFiveSeconds" and first single "Only One" - took a particularly personal turn when he played a portion of the forthcoming video for the latter track. It's an adorable, unadorned clip directed by Spike Jonze in which the rapper bonds with daughter North in a field on a foggy day. When it starts to rain, West gingerly covers his child's head with the hood of her jacket as he holds her in his arms. Watch the video below.
Aside from "Only One", West also shared his perspectives on marriage and fatherhood. "I've learned how to shut up more," he conceded, laughing along with the audience. "I think I'm a better human being because of her wife Kim Kardashian and because of my daughter, and I have always someone to think about going home to: something for me to not only to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family, because there's things I've done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people, or for culture, in a way. So now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too."
He also elaborated on his partnership with Adidas, as well the recent, drastic changes to his sound, remarking: "the definition of crazy is trying to do the same thing and expecting different results - so I tried something different over the past couple years, and I actually got some good results from it too".
