Ok so to be clear, you won’t even give any thought to what the actual statement meant

You ain’t even got an interpretation, u just don’t like the way it sounded?

My point is he said that s*** with no context or explanation is straight up dismissive of & undermines Harriet’s contributions

Idk if you black but I take full offense to any & all stupid ass misinformation & ignorance when it comes to past african American figures important to the community

Nigga you see anyone sit down & try to interpret the s*** Obama be saying ? No because Obama actually know what the f*** he be talm bout tf

Aye man. He not wrong at all. I actually love this because even though we completely disagree on whether Ye is cooning or not, you cannot put sole responsibility of his actions on his mother’s death and his bipolar disorder. The man is an autonomous, breathing, and mentally capable man who makes all his own decisions just like any other human who may have faced trauma or not.

Army service men and women’s PTSD and moments in combat do not define them. So why does Kanye’s?

Niggas: we were not free in 1619. We were not free in 1776. We were not free in 1865. We were not free in 1965. We are slaves today.

Also niggas: Kanye is a coon for saying Harriet Tubman didn’t free slaves in the 1800s.

BUTTTT ACCORDING TO NIGGAS WE WEREN’T FREE

BUTTTT Kanye is also a coon for saying exactly that.

Do you understand where we’re coming from now?

Bruh if chance said it I would do the same s***. Tf. If anyone said it my go to response wouldn’t be x person is anti black woman, X person Hates Harriet Tubman cause I’m not a f***ing idiot

    Lmaoo facts

Like what kind of person do ppl think Kanye is, to think he’d just go out of his way to discredit Harriet Tubman on purpose. If you even, for a second have a hard time believing that he’d be so malicious to f***ing Harriet Tubman of all people, maybe your next step should be to use critical thinking

Its very easy to not downplay the work Harriet did bc she did physically free the slaves. Its not her fault she couldn't abolish systemic racism.

He's too rich, too old to still be making these terrible uneducated comments. Its like he didn't learn anything form that TMZ fiasco. At what point do you step back and do some actual research before speaking on these topics

Clearly it don’t mean a lot to most because some of y’all only link to the black community or the culture is Kanye’s music & shoes

But I simply can’t grasp or condone any disrespect towards any entertainer, influencer, freedom fighter, protester & athlete that paved the way for all of us to even be able to coexist with white people

Y’all don’t care about it enough to understand what he said is still disrespectful, you can’t hypothetical a***yze s*** all you want, it was wrong

Statements like that hurt the community & diminish what we fighting for smh

It’s cool y’all took it positively but that’s hypothetical, it’s not even confirmed, people RL on here talm bout “ I don’t see what he said wrong “ because “ it actually means this “ dumbass logic

Do you distance yourself from people that do not entirely believe in the same things you do politically?
