if you just talking as good as..

i think a lot of people love blackbird, let it be, money, maybe i'm amazed and then yeah probably some songs on Band on the Run.

The poster did have a point tho. most of my favourite post-sgt peppers songs from the beatles are Harrison and Lennon. Tracks like i want you, julia, happiness is a warm gun, something, here comes the sun are incredible...

And I'm taking all things must pass and lennon's solo highlights over wings/mccartney tbh..

i agree about most of those harrison/lennon beatles songs being better for late beatles but i’d have to take paul solo over either of them. i could never lose jet, hi hi hi, check my machine, maybe i’m amazed, wonderful christmas time etc...

you ain't an all things must pass fan?

Songs like Beautiful Boy and Jealous Guy sound like peak john to me too. God, how, hold on, instant karma, starting over, the xmas song, imagine, cold turkey, power to the people (now used as an anthem by bernie ) , mind games, #9 dream, watching the wheels, how do you sleep, whatever gets you thru the night, woman...

John's solo years are stacked. And he wasn't active for half of them. Very impressive to me.

i think Paul even said beautiful boy was his favourite song john had ever wrote.

Paul does get underrated solo tho i agree.. I feel like just cos he grew older than John people see him as not as perfect. i hate when people do this.. like of course amy winehouse or jimi hendrix put out less bad music than legends who grew old, but i'd rather they had messy discographies and had long lives. do you know what i mean, it's dumb. felt like paul doing Only One, FourFiveSeconds and All Day to reach out to today's music was a really great moment too.

All Things Must Pass is amazing but Paul is my favorite artist ever, or tied with Kanye. And to me John’s solo stuff is great but Beautiful Boy and Imagine are the only things that can compete with Paul melodically
