🚨 True Ye fans please BEWARE there are bot accounts currently being used to sabotage Ye’s album “BULLY” !! Please do not feed into the AI allegations. Their goal is to deter the public from streaming.
yitler supporters are so embarrassing.
Supporting companies that are funding genocides are embarrassing too lil bro
americans saying stuff like 'wow what a racist s***hole Britain is (true tbf), glad I have nothing to do with it!" like the modern global right wing isn't almost entirely downstream of American money and influence and America itself isn't the prime driver of destabilisation in the middle East and globally tbh
the UK is like the old washed rapper of geopolitics

what a reach ... where did i say i support any company ?
It's just embarrassing to stan a grown ahh man that can't go three months without saying or doing some hateful s*** and getting pressed when brands don't want to associate with him anymore. This is the real world you can't be out there saying i love hitler, promoting and platforming white supremacists, selling hateful merch and then say 'my bad i'm mentally ill' and expect people to just move on. Especially with Ye, who has a history of reverting to his degenerate habits every time after apologizing.

Not reading all of that

Britain deserves significant responsibility for their imperial rapacity and the trans-atlantic slave trade, which are truly the precursors to our contemporary right wing.
Honestly Britain is way more racist on a cultural/social level except when it comes to pop-cultural conversations about Black American musicians, who are respected as artists in a way that they distinctly are not in the US.
FWIW I think "Slavery is a choice" is a commentary about Jamaican maroons, who escaped British slavery and formed their own independent nations in the mid-1600s.
There's a similar narrative in Biggie Smalls's Gimme the Loot. He says "I've been robbing motherfuckers since the slave ships."
IMO He means that he holds the spirit of West-Indian pirates who escaped the slave trade and lived on their own terms.
BDS means "Boycott, Divestment, (and) Sanctions"
It's a political slogan which argues for the use of similar tactics to those used to end Apartheid in South Africa to end Genocide and Apartheid in Palestine.
The idea is that people in this political movement would pressure organizations they have some influence over to Boycott and Divest from Israeli firms, and would pressure the government to impose Sanctions on Israel.
This was a widely used social media slogan ~10 years ago. IMO, this "movement" (I use the term as loosely as possible) has not been particularly effective.
My point is that Kanye's toxicity has pressured a bunch of Israeli or Israeli-linked firms to Divest from this music festival.
In contract, the BDS approach would have been to lobby the festival organizers to drop the sponsors, likely to no avail.
Basically, Ye's (extremely toxic) presence achieved a goal that BDS could not achieve for years.
BDS means boycott divest and sanction from ISRAEL. not f***ing BRITISH MUSIC FESTIVALS. THEY'RE JUST GONNA SPONSOR SOMETHING ELSE
I've now seen two clips of Jewish media folks telling Black media folks how their trauma and suffering is essentially greater than theirs and oh boy
