This would have been a perfect show to fit in between 2007 to like 2012-2013 right before he goes all the way left. Cult classic that probably still would do well financially that would have produced so much great memes/clips/etc

There’s a part where Kanye is watching the mission impossible 3 trailer and says it sucks and there’s no way he’s gonna make a song for it and then he slams the table for a minute screaming “no no way” but it’s not a continuous shot it’s multiple takes which makes me believe they shot the scene like 8 times and couldn’t decide on a take so they just used all of them
Well tbh this is a pilot, it would’ve been cut down by the network
But yeah that was one of the things that needed to change

Pretty obvious why this wasn’t picked up but if it was heavily retooled there coulda been something, I don’t think Kanye is too bad in it but the script/style isn’t doing him favours
The first half of the episode is terrible but the second half has some funny bits and if they reframed the episode around that they coulda had something
But im happy this finally leaked, a very fascinating bit of Kanye history has finally been uncovered and it’s very cool regardless of the quality
I thought the first half was way funnier than the second whole thing just needed to be condensed a bit
