JeffersonSteelflexHmm I disagree. I do think at the time I was turned off by the antics you said but in hindsight it was one of his best rollouts and honestly one of the best ones in recent years so much that now we have other artists trying to follow it
the rollout was brilliant at first, and hype levels were through the roof for me too. everything went downhill after LP2 tho
donda made me realize it’s alright to let him go. I still have his first 7 and WTT so im chillin. in fact i actually think i’ll receive his next album better because im not expecting as much from him anymore

sizzI get not liking them or wanting to listen to them but they def fulfilled a purpose within the album’s themes and acting like they didn’t is just purposefully missing the point
You can still make songs that fit a concept of an album and have them still be bad

Donda 2 is still an unfinished demo so it shouldn't count despite Ye conning the f*** out of people with that.
JIK and Ye are the only genuinely mid albums after 2016 imho.

There’s a (mostly) finished donda 2 he just didn’t put it out for some reason

It’s less about what is good and bad since everything has it’s strengths and weaknesses, people were saying the exact same thing around 2016 saying he hadn’t made good music since 2010.
