p r o v i d e ri just listened to this and it's a shame because Intimidated is the best song on here but...H.E.R. didn't take it where it needed to go. did Kay tell her to sing it like Janet? i get it's a sexy record and her delivery is meant to complement that but i think she could've accomplished it with her regular tone too, or a mix of both. what we got just kinda sounds like a demo.
someone like Kelis would've elevated that record and made it a hundred times for sexy and fun. or even Jazmine Sullivan i think would've done a good job with it.
i'm actually upset about this i played the song like 10 times, that piano loop is like candy. this could've been a classic record. we need a redo

i can't stop thinking about this Intimidated song. this should've been somebody's single. it's that simple, sexy, fun and flirty sounding pop that's been less prominent since the 2000s.
they could've given a 50 year old J Lo a hit with this. so many people i could think of to sing this song but i feel like it'll go under the radar since it's Kaytra's single and since H.E.R. is singing it lol. but it WILL be getting my streams
