Album cover had me thinking he was going for a new direction sound wise. Gotta be honest though I didn’t peep the singles lol

Overall it’s a decent project, pretty much what you’d expect from a Kaytra album. Def some heat on here

I’ve been listening to Kaytra since 2013 so I’m quite familiar with his current sound. Would’ve been nice to hear a switch up, this felt a bit monotonous. My first listen was with headphones though. His music always goes off at the right function or in the whip so I already know the album gonna be in rotation

He had already been producing but the Janet remix gave him a wave to run with. Prior to that he was doing traditional hip hop beats using some of Dilla and Madlib techniques. He was doing those early 2010s electronic/trap type beats as well. That Janet track really set him up. Some of his most recognizable songs follow that formula
