Jesus Christ time flying man, but this a timeless record, I probably had this one repeat for a whole month or two when it first dropped

Album holds a special place in my heart

Was getting heavy into electronic/house music at the time so this was like my playlist on one project

Love seeing black artists making this type s***

    What songs didn’t age well

by age well i mean i matured and the music didnt grow with me. its too campy for me. got it good for example. horrible writing super cheesy the beat is nice but if ur gonna have a singer on the song atleast make the writing not corny. s*** like that.

I used to feel this way but it grew on me a lot. It’s like one long ass mix. I also liked the poppy direction as well

  • May 6, 2021

I’ve come to appreciate Bubba more but the nostalgia on this one is unparalleled

I loved this record so much that I hated Bubba when it came out. Now I appreciate both, 99.9% feels more like a pregame to the party, while Bubba is the party if that makes sense

I appreciated that song a lot bc my people used to listen to Craig David lol s*** sounded like a regular 2000s R&B song so I fw it

Besides that idk I think Kaytra showed what he was capable of on this project. I’m not the biggest fan of the Vic and Paak tracks but Kaytra did his part throughout the album

I’m such a fan of producers so I really look at the feats as another part of the experience the producer is tryna create. Not too mad about the feat performance if Kaytra kills it. Sometimes I forget how much I pay attention to the beat more than the vocals on a track unless the vocals sound terrible
