just doing a bit of research since there has been a ton of stuff on Youtube about the luther video and easter eggs etc.
The 2 buildings in the video are the House of the Book, part of the Brandeis-Bardin Institute. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandeis-Bardin_Institute
the other is the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westin_Bonaventure_Hotel
Both locations have been used often in pop culture.
Interestingly, there are several plaques to commemorate famous elevator scenes shot in the Hotel, named;
"In the Line of Fire"
"True Lies"
"Forget Paris"
The House of the Book was created by an architect of Jewish descent, Sidney Eisenshtat. He accepted no fees for his synagogue projects. Many of his projects are well known and stand out architecturally.
The architect of the hotel is also studied and well know, John Portman. He has built many famous buildings across American cities.
Maybe there is some significance somewhere, but those are the points i found interesting in it all from the little digging i did. Maybe its nothing more than great filming location, not trying to overreach.
